Masters in Physiotherapy & Biomechanics
Matt is a physiotherapist with an extensive background in sport. As an athlete, he played baseball and hockey. His hockey career led him to the National Junior A Championship game.

Originally from the East Coast, he has a Masters in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University. He also holds a Masters in Biomechanics from McGill University where he studied hip and groin injuries and skating biomechanics.

With almost a decade of experience as a PT, he has helped a wide range of people and athletes recover from injury, get out of pain and perform at the highest levels. His experiences as a hockey player and knowledge of skating mechanics gives him a unique perspective on hockey injuries. He has also worked alongside world-renowned PTs who specialize in baseball injuries, particularly of the shoulder and elbow. Previously, he was the head physiotherapist for the Atletico Ottawa soccer club.

Matt continues to work towards advancing the field of hip and groin rehab by publishing in research journals and presenting at conferences on topics such as FAI, labrum tears and athletic groin pain.
