Our Philosophy

Mental performance training at Capital Strength focuses on two main things. First, we help eliminate problems related to sport and other performance environments such as corporate settings. For instance, do you struggle to bring your A game when it is most necessary? We can help you, through figuring out what is causing this problem and then working together to improve the situation. Second, mental performance training can enhance performance through the use and training of mental skills such as goal setting, visualization and self-talk. It does not matter what your goal is, whether it is improving your marathon finish time or trying to get better at your job, we can help you work towards these objectives.

Schooling: Bachelor of Science, Human Movement Science – VU University Amsterdam, The Netherlands; Master of science, European Master in Sport and Exercise Psychology –University of Thessaly, Greece & University of Jyvaskyla, Finland


Interesting Fact: Jelle was born and raised in The Netherlands


Sport Background: Jelle played both competitive soccer and volleyball and currently coaches with the Maverick Volleyball club High Performance Program


Favorite exercise: Deadlifts


Hobby / Other interests: Hockey, (Beach) Volleyball, Soccer, Playing the saxophone, cooking and eating


Favorite Food: Sushi
