Liam

Liam has one of the best work ethics in the gym and always shows up ready to put in work. He is completing his 3rd summer of our hockey program and about to start his 3rd season in the USHL in the fall with the Youngstown Phantoms.
“My favourite part of working out at the capital is that when I come here I’m around a lot of other hockey players and we push each other to be better athletes.”
Liam spent a summer training with coach Nick when he was younger, and when The Capital opened he knew he wanted to continue his training here. “I knew I wanted to continue to workout with my friends and with the great trainers at Capital.”
“My first impression of the capital was that it’s a first class gym in the way the trainers treat their athletes, as well as how they put together a really solid hockey program.”
Liam unfortunately suffered a separated shoulder near the end of his season this year. It took him out for the last 12 games of the season. With a lot of hard work and attention to detail, he was able to rehab his shoulder for the start of the playoffs.
“Over my 3 summers at the Capital I’ve definitely seen a big improvement in my overall strength – which has really helped me with my game on the ice. Especially being an under sized defenceman, strength and conditioning has been and will continue to be a big part of my game
