Goalie Specific Off-Season Program

This program has been developed to recondition our athletes after a long season and help reestablish proper body alignment.  Once we have established more body awareness, we need to start developing strength through these ranges of motion that will transfer onto the ice. During our final phase we will be transferring the strength into power.  This is when our workouts in the gym will begin to mimic or have a direct impact on how our athletes feel on the ice. 

Preparing for on-ice performance is a crucial component to goaltending success. In this program we focus on improving:

  • Mobility
  • Muscle Activation
  • Posture
  • Explosiveness
  • Agility
  • Flexibility/Stability
  • Hand Eye
  • Balance
  • Injury Prevention

Our Goalie program is an additional cost "add-on" to our Elite Summer Program as it comes with a:

  • Functional Assessment
  • Specific warm-up to be performed before workouts
  • Detailed periodized plan developed to peak for any show cases or camps
